Driveline brakes are a great way to shed weight on your rig and get inexpensive strong brakes. The multiplication of the brake force through the ring and pinion will stop your rig extremely well with a manual brake system but there are a few things to keep in mind. When you use a driveline brake system your brakes will be turning extremely fast and normal driving speeds. This speed produces excessive friction and heat. The brake system must be designed to absorb that heat and friction without giving up. We have designed a brake system for driveline brakes that is up to the task without breaking the bank. MUST USE HIGH TEMPERATRE BRAKE FLUID!! We also want to see anyone using this type of brake system to have redundancy in their brake system. You need separate brake lines going to 2 separate calipers so if a brake line busts you have a separate system still working.
