REMOTE MOUNT HYDROBOOST BRAKE KIT 1.25" bore master cylinder

REMOTE MOUNT HYDROBOOST KIT! Many people want to run hydroboost but cannot fit the large components. This kit allows you to remote mount the hydroboost kit anywhere in the vehicle! Put it under the passenger seat, under the dash, beside the frame rail. The possibilities are endless. This kit has a pedal and master cylinder that mount in the traditional location that connects to the hydroboost unit via a -3an brake line (not included). The kit is designed to weld to a piece of tubing which allows you to mount the unit in any orientation. We do suggest mounting both the master and slave cylinder with the fittings facing up so you can bleed air out of the system.  

If you have ever owned a buggy you know that getting good brakes is nearly impossible. Manual brakes are ok, but even the best combination i found was marginal at best. 

Driveline brakes stop extremely well but creates a large amount of heat and cant be used at high speeds. If a driveshaft fails you loose brakes at that axle.  

Vacuum boosters are large and difficult to package. performance camshafts create low vacuum levels and superchargers create positive pressure. Each of these systems will eliminate a vacuum booster from being used.  

Hydroboost brakes are the best brakes you'll ever find. The problem is that the hydroboost in stock form creates a restriction in performance power steering systems. We port the hydroboost units for more flow so the unit is not a restriction to the steering system. Our brake pedal is designed to work with the hydroboost unit to allow the perfect brake feel. This kit will give you amazing brakes that will stop your buggy on a dime.  

Brake Master Cylinders MUST be sized properly to work with the calipers you are using.  IF THEY ARE NOT SIZED PROPERLY THE SYSTEM WILL NOT WORK!!!  This kit is designed to match well with wilwood calipers with a 4.8ci volume front and a 3.0ci volume rear.  If you are trying to add hydroboost to an existing system PLEASE call us with the measurements of your caliper pistons so we can ensure this kit will work for you.  If your calipers are not compatible with this kit we can likely recommend a different master cylinder or change your calipers to a size that will work. Remote hydroboost kits require a specific bleeding sequence.  YOU MUST FULLY BLEED THE LARGE MASTER CYLINDER FIRST.  YOU CANNOT BLEED THE CALIPERS USING THE BRAKE PEDAL ON THIS KIT.
